A free educational program at Shinnston’s Ferguson Park will teach about the history of the railroad and its connection to the Shinnston area.
The Bice-Ferguson Museum presents “Buildin’ the Rails” – a living history program by award-winning historian and performer Rich Pawlings, founder of “History Alive”. Mixing music and period-dialogue, Pawlings tells the story of the construction of the transcontinental railroad.
“Buildin’ the Rails” will be presented at the Ferguson Park Performance Center on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
