Elkins, W.Va. — Women’s Basketball traveled to Davis & Elkins and secured a 86-71 victory to improve to 5-0 on the year and 2-0 in the MEC. Leading the way was Sophomore Guard Leslie Huffman dropping 20 points, 2 assists and securing 9 rebounds.
It was a very balanced offensive attack as the Falcons had 6 players in double figures. Alyssa DeAngelo went for 14 points as the second leading scorer and rounding out the top 3 was Jalen Gibbs with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
The defense was also very impressive forcing 24 turnovers and scoring 28 points off them. They’re now off until after Thanksgiving break, they will be back in action at home November 29th against West Virginia State. Tip off is slated for 5:30 PM.
