The Stonewood CEOS Club met at the home of Vice President Deloris Wilson for the October

meeting and a luncheon. Deloris welcomed members to her home. Roll call by secretary Estella

Farnsworth; present were host Deloris Wilson, Ladonna Tucker, Jan Johnson, Estella

Farnsworth, Pam Cowdry, Barbara Graham, Willa Jean Green, Eva Summers, Sherry Blue, April Stout, and Estella Farnsworth.

Deloris read devotions entitled “Remember All These Things: God is always with you and he is

aware of your every tear.” Minutes were read by Secretary, they were accepted as read. The

treasurer’s report was given by Treasurer Jan Johnson, accepted and filed for audit. The

monthly lesson was The art of afternoon tea; taught by Deloris. Afternoon Tea is a light meal

that is a tradition in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and Australia. Deloris served savory

cucumber finger sandwiches as well as chicken salad sandwiches and cookies for lunch. Pam

served tea from the items that she brought for heritage today; consisting of silverware

belonging to her Italian grandparents and a teapot, cups, and saucers belonging to her Irish

grandparents. Everyone really enjoyed the special luncheon; while learning about the history of

the afternoon tea.

April reported that nursing home visits are still on hold until further notice.

Health motivator Willa Jean Green led the members in an arm and shoulder exercise.

The Quiet Dell club hosted our club for lunch and fellowship on October 1st. We had a great

time; lunch was plentiful and delicious. There was also a white elephant gift exchange that was

hilarious and so much fun. Those ladies really know how to make you feel welcome and have a

good time. A very special thank you to them.

Unfinished business: reminders…County council Nov 4 @ St Marks Church; 2025 officer
