The Palette, located across the street from Casey’s and upstairs from Abundant Mother Apothecary, at 225 Pike St, in Shinnston is offering the following classes;
Kids Paint Tuesday, July 15, 6-7:00pm, $10.
Calming Art Tuesday, July 22, 6:00pm, $20
No experience necessary.
The current exhibition “The Fabric Show” features traditional and nontraditional use of fabric, including wall hangings and books by Claudia Shields, crochet hats, scarves, and wraps by Nancy Maunz, quilts and an altarpiece by Parry Harvey, and items from the collection of Kathy Love including a braided rug made from silk neckties, a Victorian tablecloth, and a patchwork robe by Behula Seese in 1960.
The Gift Shop at The Palette has unique handmade gifts and cards from local artists.
Open Wednesdays, 1:00pm-3:00pm and Thursdays 4:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday, June 21, 11:00am-2:00pm.
