Wilbert Junior Jett, 80, of Odell’s Knob Rd., Wyatt passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025. He was born March 4, 1945 on Odell’s Knob, in Harrison County, a son of the late Wilbert B. Jett and Rhea Mills Jett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Eileen Jett, who passed away May 28, 2025; Cousin, Susan Jane Jett in 2011, and aunt, Dessie P. Jett in 1978.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Jett) Sutton and Daniel of Shinnston; grandchildren, Ryan Cropp, Shinnston, Christina Cropp Morrison and Christina, PA, and Faith Smith, Hepzibah; two step-sisters, Irene (Tennant) Nichols and husband Elden and Lynna (Tennant) Kinney.
Junior was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. He loved watching movies and listening to old country music. Also, he liked to work on antique car pictures and Automotive work.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston on Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will be at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Evangelist Jesse Phillips officiating.
