This week’s edition of Tee It Up took us to Stonewall Resort. The Palmer course has long been a fan favorite in the area and that trend has continued under the leadership of Director of Golf Mike Rogers.
It all starts at the clubhouse which offers modern men’s and women’s apparel, merchandise, and equipment. It’s there you will meet the friendly and knowledgeable staff that are focused on your needs.
Prior to the first tee, the practice facility that includes a driving range, chipping green, and a putting green prepares golfers for a fabulous day of golf. This practice area is one of the best around and it provides a true representation of what golfers are about to encounter once they set it up on the first tee.
The layout of this track provides the perfect mixture of getable holes that can bring scoring opportunities and challenging holes where pars bring smiles. The best part of this venue is that the holes and their difficulty level change dramatically depending on the holes being played. With several options, golfers are given a fun, fair, and challenging round, regardless of skill level.
The 19th Hole is lights out. Lightburns sits above the pro shop, offering exquisite views and exceptional food. It is one of the classiest endings to a round that you can experience in the Mountain State.
If you are looking to double your fun, play, stay in top notch surroundings, then play again, it’s hard to get enough of the Palmer Course at the Stonewall Resort.
