Harley Jeffries’ service to the seniors of Harrison County for his six-year tenure as an elected member of the HCSC Board of Directors was celebrated at a recent meeting of the Mount Clare Senior Satellite in July. The Center Board President Bill O’Field presented Harley with a certificate of appreciation recognizing his service on the Board including as Vice President and as co-chair of the Health, Wellness and Nutrition Committee. As a Pastor, Harley was recognized for leading the Board in prayer while asking for guidance on serving the seniors.
Board Secretary Donna Stuart gave Harley a handmade bell with an accompanying framed message of special significance. On behalf of the HCSC Book Club O’Field presented him with an HCSC bag made by member JoAnn James and a handmade card filled with statements of gratitude from the HCSC ceramics class of which he is a member.
