Mary Evelyn ( Eve) LaFon, 69, of Enterprise, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2025. She was born September 3, 1956, in Prince George’s county, Maryland to Regina Castle and Clifford Barkman.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 35 years, William ( Bill ) Howard LaFon, with whom she shared a life of deep love and devotion.
She is survived by her three sons, Jeremy May, J.C. May, Jesse LaFon and fiance Kelly Blinkmann; four grandchildren, Austin LaFon, Isabella LaFon, Zachary May, and Avery May; her sister, Nealy Nagy, and husband Joe; nephew Jeffrey J. Neuffer Jr. and his wife Pam ; and niece Brie Neuffer along with her three children.
Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her faith, and the kindness she extended to everyone she knew.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 11:00AM-1:00PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00PM with Rev. Michael Burge officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Enterprise.
