Charles Edward Ancell, 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born on December 10, 1947, a son of the late Orville Ancell and Thelma Cox Ancell. He is also preceded in death by his wife; Patricia Napolitano Ancell, son; Todd Ancell and brothers; Ronnie Ancell, Jimmy Ancell, Junior Ancell, and Roger Ancell.

He is survived by his daughter; Tracie, grandson; Brandon, sisters; Grace Ancell of Meadowbrook, WV Bernice Ancell of Spelter, WV, Janet Loy (Mark) of Bristol WV, Karen Burkhammer of Glen Elk, WV, Diane Snyder (Ron), brother; Jeff Ancell, several nieces and nephews, and neighbors; Sue and Nick, Mark and Sandy, Roger and Donna, Patty and Terry. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 7th floor nursing staff at United Hospital Center.

Charles retired from Ford Motor Co. after forty years and he was Pentecostal by faith. In his spare time, he loved fishing and hunting with Bobby, Bo, Noah, Kevin and everyone he loved. He also loved spending Sundays with his brother in-law Johnny Lopez and his family.

Friends and family will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Pastor Mike Player officiating.

Friends and family will be received at Kaul Funeral Home in Clinton Township, MI on Saturday April 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with Dr. Joseph Tabbi and Pastor JoAnn Tabbi officiating. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow.
