On December 7, 2016, Big Elm Elementary held their School Spelling Bee. Classroom Spelling Bees were conducted to select the fourth and fifth grade School Spelling Bee participants.
The Big Elm Elementary School Spelling Bee Champion was Abby Jones. She will go on to represent Big Elm at the County Spelling Bee to be held at Liberty High School on January 11, 2017. The School Spelling Bee Alternate was Isabella Hoops. Isabella will compete at the County Spelling Bee in the event Abby Jones is not able to participate. Congratulations to ALL students who participated in the School Spelling Bee and to our Champion and Alternate winners!
