Betty Marie Clonch, age 89, of Morgantown, WV, and formerly Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Mon General Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1926, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Roy O’field and Louella (Probasco) Settles.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert L. Clonch Sr., on October 27, 2007.
Surviving Betty are one son, Robert L. Clonch Jr. and wife Charlotte of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Jimmy Radcliff and wife Marcia of West Milford, Amanda Tustin and husband Brian of West Milford, and Andrea Clonch Chrzaszcz and husband Cody of Morgantown; four great-grandchildren, Ciara Marie Radcliff, Trey Waller, Nathan Radcliff and Kasalyne Waller; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki Clonch Radcliff, and six siblings, Ruth Smith, Kathleen Suter, Jeanette Winter, William “Buck” O’field, Barbara Broccoli; and one brother, Franklin, in infancy.
Betty was very active in the Monongalia Senior Center. She enjoyed doing crochet and word puzzles. Betty’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family.
