The Health Committee presented an “Egg-xactly” program on Thursday, April 6th in the Senior Center’s Kinley Café. A speaker from United Hospital Center’s Dietary Department gave a short presentation on the myths and facts about eggs.
Following the presentation, seniors colored and decorated eggs that were exhibited and voted on for a week. First prize was awarded $25; second prize was awarded $15; and the third prize gift was a surprise. All eggs and coloring materials were provided by the Committee.
Seniors were also encouraged to create an Easter hat for a hat contest. Voting took place at the event, and the winner received a gift.
