Harrison County was represented by Executive Director Beth Fitzgerald and Board Vice President Bill O’Field at the Capitol on March 26, 2025 for the AIM Event(Alzheimer’s Impact Movement).
Over 80 people participated in Advocacy Day visiting legislators and were recognized in the Senate and House Chambers. Participants were divided into five groups to visit various legislators. Fitzgerald and O’Field were in Group Three and visited Senator Laura Wakim Chapman, HHR Committee Chair, to request her support for HB2575 which establishes a WV Dementia Services Director to coordinate statewide Alzheimer’s efforts.
