On April 30, 2017, Barbara Wildman joined the male dominated “Hole-in-One Gang” at Sunny Croft Country Club in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
On a beautiful and sunny April afternoon, Wildman chose a 7-iron on the 108 yard #16 hole. Launching her tee shot high and straight, the ball landed slightly above the hole and then slowly trickled down until it disappeared – into the bottom of the cup.
With the odds of an average golfer making a hole-in-one at 12,500 to one, Wildman accomplished something very few golfers ever have – she became ‘one’. The event was witnessed by Bobby Gaston, Woody Dennison, and Bob Dennison.
Wildman has been a member of Sunny Croft Country Club for 18 years and this was her first hole – in – one.
