The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library makes every effort to bring ‘convenience’ to members of the Senior Center. Every other Thursday (weather permitting), Library Liaison Phyllis Nichols brings selections from the library to the Center. She off ers a variety of genres, and during her last visit, she brought a selection of biographies at members’ request.
The Senior Center also wishes to thank the library for supporting its Book Club by providing copies of selections for group reading.
The Book Club last met on Friday, March 24th in the Center Board Room to discuss Helen Simonson’s book “Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand”. For more information about joining these discussion groups, please contact Bill O’Field at 304-623-6795.
