Christopher Glen Bissett, 45, of Clarksburg, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was born in Fairmont, January 11, 1980, a son of Donald Lee Bissett, Sr. and Mary Lucille Scott Bissett, of Clarksburg.

Surviving are two brothers: Donald Lee Bissett, Jr. and his wife Olinda, Pierceton, IN, and Lawrence Jackson Bissett and his wife Sherrie Smith, Centerville, MD; his nieces and nephews: Virginia Bissett, Donald Bissett, III, Aron Bissett, Lawrence Jackson Bissett, Jr., Priscilla Bissett, Emily Smith and Carter Smith; his aunts and uncles, Karen Bissett, Arlene Bissett, Sue and Roger Bissett, Barbara Douglas, Darlene and Danny Bissett, Vicky and Barry Freeland; and several cousins and extended family. Christopher was preceded in death by two uncles, Jackie Bissett and Ozzie Douglas.

Chris was formerly employed as a delivery driver for D’Annuzio’s Bakery in Clarksburg and was currently a delivery truck driver for Ole Mexican Foods. He enjoyed his work, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a mentor to his cousins’ children. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston from 2-8pm, Thursday where funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, August 15th. Interment will be in the Enterprise I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bissett family.
