Davis & Elkins College student Sarah Gustafson of Bridgeport, W. Va., was recognized during the College’s annual Honors Convocation for membership in Kappa Delta Pi international honor society in education.
Gustafson is the daughter of Karl and Janice Gustafson of Bridgeport, W. Va.
Eligibility requirements for undergraduate students includes a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, completion of at least 30 credit hours of collegiate course work with at least 12 credit hours in education course work programmed, in progress or completed, and an invitation from the local chapter.
Kappa Delta Pi was founded in 1911 to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. Using a variety of programs, services and resources, KDP supports and advances educators throughout the phases and levels of their teaching careers.
