At the Jan. 9 Regular Shinnston City Council Meeting, Steven Strait, fraternal insurance counselor, managing partner, Modern Woodmen of America presented a check from Modern Woodmen of America to the Shinnston Park Board for $10,000 to be used at Shinnston’s Bice-Ferguson Park for a new pavilion. The concrete slab for this pavilion was donated by an anonymous donor.
Modern Woodmen of America is a member-owned, fraternal financial services organization.
