Edna May Kropp, 84, of Worthington, WV, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 1st, 1941, in Fairmont, WV, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ina Della (Day) and the late Clarence Edward Wilson, Sr.

She was a devoted wife to the late William J. Kropp of 41 years, and a loving mother to three, Donnetta & husband Dennis Blair, Teresa & husband Warren McIntire, and William & wife Cheryl Kropp.

Her greatest joy was her role as “Nan” to her grandchildren,

Mendi Blair and Jeffrey Fluharty, Miranda and Jack Vaughn, Kaisey and Corey Harris, Zack McIntire and Amanda Dolly, Katelynn and Joseph Rogers and Cody Kropp and Regan Whipkey.

And Great Grandmother to Zoe Vaughn, Ryder, Kaylie & Adalyn Harris, Olivia, Wesley & Colt McIntire, Zaiden Fluharty, Kaden Rogers, and Bennett Kropp.

Nothing surpassed her love for her family. Holidays spent together, family dinners, huge Sunday breakfasts, and her unwavering support filled our lives with joy and laughter.

She also enjoyed spending time with her many brothers and sisters.

Aretta Barker and husband Terry of TN, Audrey White of MD, Martha Jean Green of Zanesville, OH, Judy Holcomb and husband Eddie of Worthington, Bernice Rota of Zanesville, OH, Connie Rota of Lumberport, Wanda Barnes of Worthington.

Bill Wilson and wife Brenda of Zanesville, OH, Claude Wilson of Margaret, Otto Wilson and wife Lillian of Fairmont, Bernard Wilson and wife Rhonda of Worthington and Joe Wilson and wife Debbie of Zanesville, OH; and Iva Eakle. As well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Edna is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Edward Wilson and Richard Lane Wilson; two sisters: Deloris Whitecotton and Shirley Wilkins; ten brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Friends will be received at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Sunday, August 17th, from 2-8pm and on Monday, August 18th, from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm. Evangelist Craig Matheny will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Enterprise I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
