GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Men’s Basketball Head Coach Bob Bolen has announced the signing of Alderson Broaddus transfer Rye Gadd.
Gadd is a 6-2 Guard of Cowen, W.Va., playing high school basketball at Webster County High School. He is a sophomore and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
He spent one year at AB, seeing action in 19 games and averaging 2.9 PPG and 1.7 RPG while shooting 30% from the field as a true freshman.
Gadd had season-highs of 33 minutes and 14 points against West Virginia Wesleyan in early December. He scored 11 points in 33 minutes against Salem just a week later.
He scored 1,636 points while in high school and averaged 28 PPG during his senior campaign. Gadd also led the Highlanders to a state tournament appearance and holds the single-game scoring record at WCHS.
