The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are the members of the Lincoln football team.
Last Friday, a Lincoln student passed away, leaving the entire community heartbroken. The scheduled game with RCB was played with heavy hearts.
In my weekly article, I purposefully didn’t mention any individual plates. The game was about much more than what any individual could do on the field. It was about unity and that is why the entire team is being focused on this week.
Every Lincoln player is in the athlete spotlight this week for coming together for each other in a time of need.
