The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are Cougar basketball player Aundrea Rcokwell and Robert C. Byrd’s Cam Newsaun.
Cougar basketball player Aundrea Rockwell led a balanced scoring attack in a recent win over Liberty. Rockwell netted a game-high 14 points in the victory over the Mountaineers.
Flying Eagle hoopster Cam Newsaun helped his squad to its first win in 2025. In the triumph over East Fairmont, Newsaun scored all 12 of his points in the fourth quarter to go along with seven rebounds.
