The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are Lincoln’s Eryn Ashcraft and Jacob Bart.
The Cougar girls team made its first appearance in the state soccer tournament. Eryn Ashcraft led Lincoln to a four to zero win over Sissonville with a tremendous offensive effort. Ashcraft scored three goals in the historic victory.
Cougar receiver Jacob Bart had an exceptional outing in Lincoln’s opening round playoff game with Independence. Bart would haul in 16 passes for 155 yards and a score.
