The North Central Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Meadowbrook Mall. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. with the opening ceremony at 2:00 p.m. followed by the Walk. The purpose of the Walk is to raise money for an Alzheimer’s cure. Everyone is welcome to participate.
The HCSC Walk Team has created a raffle basket to raise funds as part of their fundraising efforts. Tickets are $1.00 each or six for $5.00. The basket’s total value is $400 including $300 in restaurant gift cards and $100 in WV Lottery scratch tickets.
Tickets are available at the HCSC front desk and will also be available on Walk Day. The drawing will be held on October 5 at the Walk.
Anyone of you can form a walk team to support the cause to find a cure by looking closely at your circle of engagement. It can be created with members of your family or your church, friends, co-workers, neighbors, your doctor’s or dentist’s offices staff, or your high school classmates with whom you are still in contact with at a class reunion.
