Nick Sears, 53, of Shinnston, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 20, 2025. He was born on March 9. 1972 in Fairmont, WV. Nick is survived by his mother, Karen Sears, from Shinnston. Along with his mother, he is survived by his children, Colton, Preston, and Baylee Sears; his two brothers Scott and David Sears; and his nieces and one nephew, Shalynn, Shyann, and Noah Sears.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Sears, of Webster WV.
Nick graduated from Lincoln High School in 1991. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion. He loved to fish, camp, and took great joy in his family. Nick never missed a gathering and brought a good laugh. Hunting was near and dear to his heart, as being outdoors was where he was happiest.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated.
