CHARLESTON, W.V. – A Harrison County man was arrested for allegedly setting a vacant recycling center on fire on Sunday.
Richard Coffman, 29 years old, was arrested by Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies after an investigation by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office. Coffman is accused of starting a fire at the Harrison Recycling Center in Summit Park. The fire occurred on May 5th around 12:30 pm. There were no working utilities at the center.
After an investigation by the WVSFMO, Coffman was arrested later that day.
Coffman is being held on a $25,000.00 bond in the North Central Regional Jail.
