Rosalie F. Mauller, 88, of Bridgeport, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, following an extended illness.
She was born in Bridgeport on February 16, 1928, a daughter of the late Justice Fordice and Lillie May (Martin) Nuzum.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Ashby Mauller, who passed away on February 15, 1978.
She is survived by five children, Susan McDaniel and her husband Tom, Larry Mauller and his wife Patti, Dale Mauller, Patrick Mauller and his wife Vicky, Kimberly Thompson and her husband Larry, all of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Tom McDaniel II and his wife Kathy of Fairmont, Tim McDaniel and his wife Tara, Holly Ridge, NC, Travis McDaniel, Laura Cozad and her husband Chris of Bridgeport, Zachary Mauller, Jonathan Mauller of Washington, D.C., Whitney Mauller, Heather Mauller of Clarksburg, Sarah Ferrell of Bolt, Amanda Kosanovich and her husband Steve of Weirton, Brandon Mauller of Clarksburg, Ryan Mauller and Abigail Thompson; along with several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Willa June Glaspell and her husband Howard, Fairmont.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Joyce Mauller; seven brothers, Earl W. Nuzum, Woodrow W. Nuzum, Harry R. Nuzum, P. Walton Nuzum, Eugene Nuzum, Justice F. Nuzum Jr. and Luther Nuzum; and three sisters, Genevieve Clevenger, Geraldine Malcom and Olive Nuzum.
Rosalie was a life-time member of Smith Chapel and was a member of United Methodist Women.
