On August 30th, the annual Bice-Ferguson Memorial Museum Art Show concluded with a reception. Seven local artists had participated with 31 works for People’s Choice Best of Show honors. Winning first place was Shinnston’s Betsy Price with her painting “The Gate House.” Second place went to Renee Ash for “WV Elk” and third went to Lee Ann Romeo for “Sunset River.” Currently, through September, the Museum is featuring a quilt show with 20 beautiful quilts from 7 local craftswomen. Come vote for your favorite! Museum hours are 9 am to 1 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
