The final performance of the 2014 Shinnston Theatre in the Park Series is scheduled for this Saturday night. The improv comedy team “The Fearless Fools” will be performing. It will be their third performance in Shinnston this year.
The Fools were founded by Steve Goff and are the only improv troupe in the state. For those who don’t know what improv comedy is, Community Development Director Reuben Perdue says you’re in for a special night.
“Picture the television show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ in a live setting, Perdue explained. “It’s quick, fast, think-on-your-feet comedy … totally unscripted and different every time you see it. The best part is that the show draws heavily on audience participation. They want the audience to give them ideas, settings, characters, funny stuff to work with.”
