The Bice Ferguson Memorial Museum will host an informal, interactive workshop entitled,
Lessons from the Victory Garden” on June 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm. The history and social impact
of the Victory Garden in the United States and Allied Countries will be examined and local
gardeners are invited to bring their hints, tips and stories to share. New gardeners and those
thinking about growing for the first time will find encouragement and inspiration.
In August the Museum will host a show featuring local art and in September a quilt show.
Anyone interested in the Museum programs can call or text Director Debra Herndon at 304-677-
6650 or stop by the Museum at 400 Pike Street Thursday, Friday or Saturday from 9:00 am to
1:00 pm.
