The said entity held its annual meeting/dinner on Sunday July 27, 2025 at 1 p.m. in Casey’s Restaurant, Shinnston, with President Glendora M. Headley presiding. Other elective officers present – Betty Pritt, Vice President and Wanda F. Ashcraft, Secretary-Treasurer.
The President extended a welcome, read a poem on “Friendship,” and offered invocation. Secretary read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the Treasurer’s Report. Both were approved. She also read correspondence, a letter from Deborah R. Siers, and a letter of thanks from Marion County Senior Citizens (Leisha Elliott, Director) and exhibited a lovely certificate (gold and purple) from the Grand Encampment of the West Virginia I.O.O.F. for donations.
Under ill or in distress, the Secretary read a list of brothers and sisters lost by death in the West Virginia Odd Fellowship for 2024-25.

Betty Pritt, Vice-President, gave a lovely memorial, using candles in honor of our members – Mary M. Bess, Harless A. Turner, and Dick J, Weekley.
The group voted to hold an annual meeting/dinner again in 2026 – July 19, 2026 1 p.m. at Casey’s Restaurant, Shinnston, West Virginia. Note – it is changed to the third weekend instead of the fourth. Members, please write this date down and make an effort to attend.
This group is comprised of the members who were on three drill teams honoring past International leaders beginning in 1967:
Harold L. Scott, Past Sovereign Grand Master
Alberta Hudkins, Past President, International Association of Rebekah Assemblies
Carl C. Williams, Past Sovereign Grand Master’
All three are deceased, but we continue to honor their service.
The group was glad that the restaurant owner, Jimmy Scudere (an Odd fellow) stopped by for a visit.They expressed to him appreciation for the tasty meals and said they wanted to come back next year.
The same officers were retained.
