It was “snowy” weather at Snowshoe Mountain this past weekend and the resort area received an additional 18 inches of snow on Saturday with more expected on Sunday. Thanks to this storm, travel was discouraged both to and from Snowshoe; however, it created great conditions for skiers and snowboarders this week. As shown in the photo above, equipment at Snowshoe is prepared for winter sports, making it easy to traverse its 251 acres of 
terrain.
