West Virginia’s chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance is seeking volunteers, according to a news release.
The statewide organization, which aims to provide help, hope, support, and education to people with mood disorders and the people who love them, offers peer support groups throughout the state (some in-person, some via Zoom), daily check-in calls, a Discord chat room, newsletters, a yearly conference and more.
The group is looking for volunteers to get the word out about the organization and to start peer-facilitated support groups. Volunteers may make phone calls, refer those interested to the website, email flyers and fill out paperwork.
More information is available at www.dbsawv.org. Those interested can also call Diane Kissinger at 304-376-7438.
