Lincoln High School DECA and NTHS (National Technical Honor Society) students took part in a clean-up project Friday, April 28 at Lumberport City Park, according to a news release. The project was led by Rachel Miller, DECA member activities director, who organized the effort.
Students spent three hours picking up trash around the park, removing sticks from the grounds, sweeping off basketball and pavilion areas and raking/bagging several large trash bags of leaves collected inside the main basketball court. They offered thanks to the City of Lumberport for providing the large trash bags and removal of collected waste.
