The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are Bridgeport’s Madilyn Fittro and Josh Love.
Indian softball player Madilynn Fittro helped her team to a big win over rival Robert C. Byrd last week with an impressive effort. Fittro was four for six from the plate with a pair of home runs and two doubles. She also drove in six runs in the affair.
Indian football standout Josh Love had a hat trick this past week at the Frank Loria Awards Dinner. Love garnered a $1,000 check from the Frank Loria Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Then Love nabbed the Loria Academic Award. The cherry on top was when Love was named the Loria Outstanding Player.
