Barbara Zvonaric Gump

Barbara Zvonaric Gump, 84, of Wallace, passed away January 10, 2026 at United Hospital Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Joe/Vilma Zvonaric and Emma Jean Tichenor of Lumberport. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James (Jim) Gump of Wallace. One daughter, Debbie (Larry) Bennett. Two sons, Joe (Melissa) Thrower and James (Jimmy) Gump, all of Wallace. Four grandchildren Mike Bennett, Doug (Koa) Bennett, Chad Thrower, Danielle Thrower and companion Justin, all of Wallace. Eight great grandchildren and one on the way, Caemon, Casten, Kale, Reese, Judd Bennett, Matthew Barberio, Kara, Katie Hickman, Conner Hickman due soon. One sister, Sharon (Sue) Sendling of Lamberts Run, who was special and loved by her. Her friend, Helen Newlon, whom she considered family. Several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her loving brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Judy Zvonaric of Gypsy, who she missed dearly.
Barbara attended Lumberport High School. A Pentecostal by faith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved playing cards and working in her flowerbeds when she was able.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nurse Morgan, 6th floor, UHC for being so compassionate to our mother and family at a difficult time.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 3:00PM at Lumberport Lions Cemetery with Pastor Brian Price officiating.
Dorsey Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements for the Gump family.
