2016 Academy of Country Music nominee, Parmalee, is set to perform at Schmitt’s Saloon in Morgantown, WV on Sunday, May 28.
The proven chart-toppers recently released their new single and soon to be hit “Sunday Morning.” The second single off their long-awaited sophomore album celebrates a love that can bring one back to reality after life starts to spiral out of control. “The song is about getting back to the one that brings the crazy down a notch. It’s kinda like waking up on calm Sunday morning,” explains Matt Thomas.
Parmalee is one of country music’s most successful new acts, comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long best friend Josh McSwain (guitar). Their debut country album, “Feels Like Carolina,” has earned the group three top ten hits including their multi-week #1 smash hit “Carolina.” Critical praise of the debut album was received from People, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, Billboard and more.
Since their debut at country radio, Parmalee has earned over 330 million Pandora streams, 55 million plays on Spotify, over 31 million YouTube/ VEVO views, and 1.4 million Shazam subscribers.
Heralded as “Country Music’s Breakout Stars” by MSN Entertainment, Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours while finding time to perform on NBC’s TODAY show, The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, FOX & Friends, MLB Central’s Studio 21, and The Queen Latifah Show.
