Bridgeport, W.Va. – The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is excited to announce the addition of the WVU Medicine United Hospital Center Junior Championship to its 2025 tournament schedule. This prestigious event will be held from July 14-17, 2025, at Bridgeport Country Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
The WVU Medicine United Hospital Center Junior Championship will be the AJGA’s first event in West Virginia since 2009, bringing a significant and highly anticipated of top-level junior golf to the state.
The WVU Medicine United Hospital Center Junior Championship runs July 14th through 17th featuring 78 of the top junior golfers around the world. An 18-hole qualifier will be held July 13th where a separate field of 78 players will compete to earn their way into the tournament. The official practice round and Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament will be held July 14th. The 54-hole tournament will begin on July 15th with the championship concluding on Thursday, July 17th.

The WVU Medicine United Hospital Center Junior Championship will feature a Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament prior to the event, providing a unique opportunity for amateur golfers from the surrounding community to support the AJGA while enjoying a day on the course alongside golf’s next generation. Proceeds from the Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament will be donated to local benefiting charities and the AJGA Foundation.
