MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Allied Health Solutions Specialty Pharmacy, based in Morgantown and formerly operated by Allied Health Services, Inc., will become WVU Medicine Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion effective Dec. 16.

WVU Medicine Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion will be owned and operated by WVU Hospitals. Patients may notice minor updates with the pharmacy’s logo, but the staff, phone number, address, and commitment to each patient will not change.

This change will also allow for enhanced MyWVUChart capabilities that will simplify billing and streamline access to current medical records across WVU Health System providers.

“This shift in name and ownership aligns with our dedication to provide the best possible care for our patients,” Louie Sokos, WVU Medicine Pharmacy associate vice president, said. “By integrating with MyWVUChart and Epic, our electronic medical records system, we are able to communicate to both patients and their physicians about how medications are affecting our patients and help them navigate their use between visits.”

For more information about WVU Medicine Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion and how it can help patients access their medications, call 1-844-988-7216.
