The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are South Harrison’s Audrey Burnside and Robert C. Byrd’s Ethan Lake.
Hawk volleyball player Audrey Burnside has been playing lights out as of late. A couple of weeks ago, she scored a triple-double in a win over Doddridge County. This past week, Burnside had 15 assists, 10 digs, eight kills, and seven service points, including three aces in a win over Williamstown.
Flying Eagle soccer player Ethan Lake just can’t seem to stop scoring. Lake scored four goals in an 11 to one win over Pike View last Monday. He followed that epic efort with a four-pack of goals in a 10 to 0 win at Preston on Thursday.
Congratulations to South Harrison’s Audrey Burnside and RCB’s Ethan Lake for shining bright in the SN and HCJ spotlight!
