Bonnie’s Bus to Bring Free Mammogram Screenings to Immaculate Conception

The Immaculate Conception Parish Nurse Ministry is sponsoring Bonnie’s Bus to be on site by the Parish Center at 150 South Maple Ave on April 11, 2024.  Registration is required and screening guidelines are enforced. 

 

Bonnie’s Bus provides mammograms to individuals who fall within screening guidelines, including women, men, transgender, and gender-diverse people who:  Live in West Virginia and are age 40 or older, regardless of ability to pay; live in West Virginia and are age 35-39 and requesting a baseline mammogram with a payment source; are age 40 or older with a previous breast cancer-related issue and need a roune mammogram; or live outside of West Virginia and are age 40 or older with a payment source for the mammogram.  Uninsured paents living in West Virginia and over the age of 40 will not be turned away. Grant funding and donaons will be used to cover the cost.
