Registration for the Summer Reading program offered at the Bridgeport Public Library begins Thursday, June 1, 2017.
This year’s program theme is US history, with special emphasis on diversity and will run June 8th through July 20th. Interactive programs will be offered to accommodate various summer schedules for all ages. Registration for July programs begins June 15th.
Registered participants will receive lists of recommended reads, reading logs, independent activity sheets, calendars of events, and eligibility to win prizes and attend programs throughout June and July, ending with a finale block party.
Registration for adults and teens requires a Bridgeport Public Library card and registration for children requires the presence of an adult with a Bridgeport Library card. For questions about this event, please contact Sarah or Amy at the library at 304-842-8248.
