Charlene Baker, 66, of Shinnston, passed away January 2, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1957, in Clarksburg, a daughter to the late Wilma Shriver. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandparents Ada Beatty and Orie Earl Shriver; uncles, Duane (Juke) Shriver, Robert (Bob) Shriver, Ray (Jack) Shriver, and Howard Shriver.
Charlene is survived by her husband Scott, whom she married on August 14, 1996. She’s also survived by her aunt Shirley Shriver, uncle Arlin Roscoe Shriver of Stonewood, aunt Claudine Laxton of Leitchfield, KY; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
She worked at Shop’N’Save (now Price Cutter), was Methodist, and enjoyed collectibles including knick-knacks, listening to music, reading, doing puzzle books, and was a pet lover.
Per her wishes, Charlene will be cremated.
