Claire C. Pinder, 53, of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at her home in Bridgeport surrounded by those who loved her. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University and Liberty University, attained a Masters Degree in Education and was member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Claire was employed by the State of West Virginia, first at the WV Veterans Nursing Facility in Clarksburg then at WV Department of Highways in Bridgeport, attended the FBI Citizens Academy and became a member of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. She was also an Associate Member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Mountaineer Lodge #78. Claire loved studying her bible and talking to everyone she met, she didn’t know a stranger. Claire is survived by her mother and father, Talmadge and Alice Pinder, and her two brothers, Almeric and Damian. Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of her life and a service will be conducted, details will be announced at a later date. Claire will be forever in our hearts
