Ralph Edward Leggett

Ralph Edward Leggett, 63, of Wallace, entered his Heavenly home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born in Fairmont, February 25, 1961, a son of Patsy B. Price Leggett, of Wallace, and the late Edward Eugene Leggett. On March 11, 1983, Ralph married Rometta Lynn Carson Leggett who survives.

Also surviving are his sons and daughters: Ralph Leggett and his wife Jennifer, Clarksburg, William Leggett, and his wife Nichole, Haywood, and Shondra Leggett; his grandchildren: Rilynn, Paislee, Gunnar, Maxon, Macie, Myle, Haleigh, and Mackenzie Leggett; his brother, Ronald E. Leggett, Wallace; three sisters: Shelia K. Napier and her husband John, Lumberport, Pamela M. Holley and her husband Timothy, Lumberport, and Jennifer Leggett and Joe Sendling, Wallace; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rick Marks, Mike Groves, Janet and John Hustead, Martha and Dave Maxwell, Roger Carson, Rick and Tammy Carson, Beverly Boyles, Linda and Steve Harris, and Charlie and Brenda Carson; and several special nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Ralph was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Edward Leggett, and a sister, Deborah Ann Marks.

Ralph was formerly employed as a bread delivery driver for D’Annunzio’s Bakery and Home Industry Bakery. He was a faithful Christian and attended church services throughout the area. He loved to play the guitar, sing, and praise and worship the Lord. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8pm, Friday where funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, March 2, with Pastors Shelia and John Napier officiating. Interment will be in the Robinson Cemetery in Wallace. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Leggett family.
