WASHINGTON – Today’s Consumer Price Index report showed the inflation rate surged to 3.7% – more than 2.5x the rate when Joe Biden took office. As a result of “Bidenomics,” prices are up 17.4% and real wages are down 3.1% since President Biden was sworn in.
“Today’s report shows the failure of Bidenomics and runaway Democrat spending, which is not only bankrupting our country, but also West Virginia families,” said Congressman Alex X. Mooney.
Congressman Mooney added, “We must get government spending under control. Washington spending is fueling record inflation. The House of Representatives must pass a fiscally responsible budget.”
