Enith Eilene Wright, 76, of Shinnston, passed away on October 24, 2024 at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born on June 13, 1948, the daughter of Deloris Minor and the late Wilbert Minor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wright Sr.; brother Gary; sister Marlene Neff, and nephew Darin Neff.

She is survived by her son Chad J. Wilson and his wife Amy, and their children Connor, Duncan, Alex and his wife Jenna, Sloane, Lee and his wife Presley; and a step-son Charles Wright Jr.

She is also survived by her brother David and his wife Becky, and their children Shannon, Erin, Maria, and Matt; great niece Kirstein and husband Jerry; great nephew Chandler and his wife Dakota; great-grandson Romy; two great-great nieces Wrenlei and Ellie; and great-great nephew Pierson.

She is also survived by her loving partner and childhood sweetheart, Doyle Cowger, and his children Shad, April, Jason and Ashley, plus six grandchildren.

Enith retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a previous owner of The Town Pump and the Shinnston Sports Center (later known as Beck’s Café)

She was an active member of the Shinnston Lions Club, American Legion Auxiliary Post 31, Shinnston Senior Citizens Center, and was a member of the Shinnston Community Band. She loved to ride her Harley-Davidson trike with Doyle, and work with him in the hayfield. The two were constantly side by side.  Enith was also a member of the North Shinnston Baptist Church.

Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1:00PM-8:00PM and Monday, October 28, 2024 from 11:00AM-1:00PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00PM with Pastor Mathew Keith officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
