Fifth Grade Johnson Elementary Class Community Service Project

Mrs. Gallagher’s fifth grade class at Johnson Elementary in Bridgeport recently donated activity packs, art kits, coloring books, puzzles and socks, along with a homemade card from a student to United Hospital Center’s pediatric patients. The class adopted a community service project as a way to give back and make a difference in their community. Pictured from left are: (front row) Johnson Elementary fifth graders Gracee Klingensmith, Sean Huffman, and Benjamin Yurkovich; (back row) Sharon Mitchell, RN, pediatric nurse manager; and Tiffany Brinkley, RN, pediatric clinical supervisor.
