Francis Wayne Kellar, 85, of Joetown, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at River Oaks Healthcare Center in Clarksburg. He was born November 6, 1940 in Joetown, a son of the late Russell and Mildred Looman Kellar.

On October 14, 1961, Wayne married Jean Ann Hawkins Kellar, who died on October 25, 2006.

He is survived by his two sons, Kevin Kellar and his wife Tina; and Scott Kellar, both of Joetown; his grandchildren, David (Tabby) Hamrick; Scottie (Danielle) Kellar; Amber (Frank) McElwain; James (Amy) Stevens; Jackie (Jimmy) Wheeler; and Tiffany Stevens; his great-grandchildren, Aubree Stevens; Ryleigh Wheeler; Mackenzie McElwain; Corben Stevens; Sadie Wheeler; Noah Stevens; Natalie Stevens; Avery Stevens; Layla Kellar; and Landon Kellar; his son-in-law, Jimmy Stevens; his siblings, Sue Watson of Indiana; and Jimmy Kellar; his sister-in-law, Janet Kellar; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his daughters, Kimberly Stevens; and Melanie Hamrick; his daughter-in-law, Audrey Kellar; his son-in-law, David Hamrick; his brothers, Kenny Kellar; Kennis Kellar and his wife Charlene; as well as his companion, Margaret Stalnaker.

He was a graduate of Mannington High School. Wayne was the owner and operator of Kellar and Son Pallet in Clarksburg. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping, spending his winters in Florida, and driving his Volkswagen Thing.

Friends will be received at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Sunday from 2-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 22nd, at 11:00am with Pastor Mike Hamrick officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery.
