Frankie Tate, 56, of Spelter, passed away on May 24, 2025. He was born on May 15, 1969, in Clarksburg, a son to Frank Tate and Linda Allowatt Tate.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Robert Smith; brother Mickey Tate (Gina); sister Christie Broadwater (Rusty); nephews and niece Anthony, Nicky, and Sofia Tate, nephew Clay Broadwater (Cara); great-nieces Layla Broadwater; niece Kaylyn Wiseman (Kyle); aunt Judith Rising; uncle John Allowatt (Quinn); and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather John Allowatt; grandmother Mary Tate; and uncle Richard Allowatt.
Frankie worked at Michelle’s Hot Spot, and was an avid Steelers and WVU Mountaineers fan.
Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 3:00PM-7:00PM. A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM with Pastor Jimmy Glaspell officiating.
